7 S.C. fraternities suspended over alcohol

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Seven fraternities at the University of South Carolina face sanctions for providing alcohol to underage students during recruitment parties, but the school may lift its postponement of rush and allow fraternities to accept new members later this week, school officials told students Monday.
